SJS x Employer/Employee Testimonial Series
After the success of our first commissioned video with Student Job Search, Couch Kumara director Finn and myself found ourselves planning a series of testimonial interviews with customers of SJS. We tracked down business owners and who had employed staff through the help of SJS and met with them, hoping to arrange for them to speak a bit about the ways SJS has helped them conduct their business. SJS is a non-profit company and the return was advertising/brand exposure for the business, and $50 grocery vouchers for the staff who also sat down to talk about their experience. Overall we found most of the subjects we approached to be very generous and cooperative, which was a good way to start things off.
This project was a big step away from the creative style of our last video, but we did lots of prep-work and researched thoroughly and came away with a good result in the end.
