Student Job Search - Secrets to Success
This series of video sketches was another collaboration with Couch Kumara for Student Job Search.
Once again, we were commissioned to create a series of videos that SJS could use for advertising their job-hunting services. The idea was to have them target both employers and employees again. To begin with, we agreed that we wanted them to be more fun and absurd; a departure from the last round of videos, which were more grounded in reality/documentary in style.
We brainstormed then rounded our scenarios down to the five most likely that an employer would be in need of some help. We then broke down the employment types (full-time, part-time, casual etc.) This guided us to our final results, where we would combine a scenario with a category of work, in order to cover as much ground as possible. We casted the videos so that we covered all walks of life, to ensure all groups felt at least somewhat represented by the campaign.
