I co-directed/co-wrote this video with long-time collaborator, Finn O’Connor from Couch Kumara. It was a real blast to create something blending entertainment with commercial, and being in drama school at the time, gave me an opportunity to engage in something different while utilizing some of that acting training. It was really freeing to have the creative control that Student Job Search allowed us in this project, and it fortunately led to subsequent commissions by the same client.
It was a hit on social media and had a successful run at many of New Zealand’s leading tertiary education institutions, no doubt enticing many students to check out what kind of work they could get through SJS while they study.
